In May/June of 2015, I toured 9 of China's Fine Arts Universities and Arts Academies to document the sculpture exhibitions of its graduate students.

This tour was possible due to permission by Luo Xiaoping, who was selecting artwork for a large exhibition in Shanghai in September of 2015. This is the fourth time Luo Xiaoping has curated such an exhibition of student artwork. The subsequent exhibition in Shanghai was dispersed among Shanghai's public spaces for permanent display as public art. The students were compensated for their artwork and thus benefited overall by the prestige of having their work selected and added to the collection of public art owned by the city of Shanghai.
